1) Both parents shall have complete access to any and all school records and the right to be informed of any school-parent activities and to participate in those school events and conferences. 

2) If the school will provide only one copy of notices, then the party receiving the notice shall have the responsibility of passing a copy of notices to the other parent and advising the other parent of events in a timely manner.

3) It is assumed that each parent will make minor, day-to-day educational decisions unilaterally when he/she has the children.

4) The parents will discuss and work towards agreement on any major educational decision including changes of schools, private schooling, special educational needs, counseling, or tutoring. 

5) If the parents cannot agree on a major educational decision (choose one below):

5A) The parties will mediate the issue with a mutually agreeable mediator prior to litigating the issue.
5B) (Parent' first name)  will have final decision making authority for major educational decisions.
